The client purchased this 1951 time capsule and wanted to gut it and extend the footprint. We opened the entire existing living space creating an entertaining space and added a full primary suite complete with its own atrium. They were adamant we go bold, so we appointed a peacock teal for the kitchen cabinets, grounding them with a rich wood grain quartz with waterfall edge on the island and white quartz counters along the perimeter. The clients have thrown lots of parties in their new space, and they tell everyone to look for the MidMod bungalow with the Gumby green door.
